-Ottawa-raised Friends alum Matthew Perry, 40, is set to star in, co-write and executive produce an untitled comedy series, which will be pitched to TV networks this week, in which he will play a self-involved manager of a second-rate sports arena who begins to re-evaluate his life on his 40th birthday, the Hollywood Reporter says. Perry is the third Friends grad making a return to series TV. Courteney Cox stars in ABC's Cougar Town, and Matt LeBlanc recently signed on to star in the Showtime/BBC series Episodes.TV worth talking about
