-The Economic Problem of a Nation -this is a mortal wound

-My Concern about Economic problem of a Nation this is a mortal wound -
In the nineties we witness world nations grappling with common problem that ubiquitous, menacing foriegn debts. As political alignments increasingly become uncertain, small economies will feel the crunch of imported inflation and greater protectionism in industrialized countries. Here at home, we can expect external development to always threaten our stability. Any move to increase world interest rates, raises oil prices, or reduces the incomes of our trading partners would surely send our policymakers wary our the effects of the these on our countrymen-especially the poor. At the same time , our quest for economic growth and development will be depend on how we manage our internal balances the budget deficit. Amidst this environment, we would find Filipinos, wether rich or poor, old or young, educated or illiterate, regarding key economic, variables of utmost concern. How would we prevent rising prices? How can we earn more? Will the peso devalue within the next few months? Some questions will border on the political. How should we deal wioth foriegn investors? How much assistance should we seek to from the United States? All these, and more, are the questions that responsible Filipinos would tend to wonder about. Can these concern be addressed? We do not to learn to many facts and wait till we grow old before we could able to answer these questions. What we would have to do instead would be to learn the science of economics, that will lead us to the answer to many of our economic questions, although like any other body knowledge, it surely will have its own limitations. The Economic Problem of a Nation- this is a mortal wound.
