Yemen Bomb

U.S. officials terrorism last night believed an Islamic cleric who once lived in London was the most likely suspect that the mastermind of the bomb cargo planes sent to attack Jewish groups in Chicago.

Anwar al-Awlaki was born in New Mexico to Yemeni parents and has been accused of fomenting terrorism in their sermons and writings.

It is believed to be hiding in rugged or regions Shabwa Mareb Yemen, an area of jihadis at times have proved a safe haven.

Al-Awlaki is linked to several attempted plots against the U.S., by plane and car bomb. He is also linked to an atrocity success - the shooting of 13 soldiers at Fort Hood for a fellow Muslim American soldier.
