The man accused in the Auburn University tree poisoning case has been ordered to complete an anger management program if he bonds out of jail.
AUBURN, University - Harvey Updyke Jr., the man accused in the Auburn University tree poisoning case, has been ordered to complete an anger management program if he bonds out of jail.
According to court records obtained by WKRG, Updyke is also banned from Auburn University and from possessing any weapons or "toxic or dangerous chemicals, substances or herbicides," the Feb. 17 motion says.
Updyke, 62, from Dadeville, Ala., was arrested early Thursday morning for one count of criminal mischief, a Class C Felony that carries up to ten years in prison. He is in jail on a $50,000 bond.
