University of Phoenix gets Ok
The U.S. Department of Education has closed its program review on University of Phoenix, finding that the Apolllo Group Inc. subsidiary has made acceptable corrections to its federal financial aid programs.
In its Expedited Final Program Review Determination Letter, the federal education department said it reviewed the way UOP administers the Title IV financial aid program, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Other compliance issues also have been addressed and all findings have been closed, according to the SEC filings. No economic or other sanctions were imposed.
